Starr Foster Dance is excited to announce the highly anticipated performance of [YOUR NAME HERE] and the premieres of Mercy and A Soft Neglect.
Reviewed as “an innovative and timely choreographic work”, [YOUR NAME HERE] is a work about you, the viewer, the typical you, and the unrevealed you. First presented in 2021, this mesmerizing work is performed throughout a set of barren metal trees.
Also on the program, Foster will present the premiere of Mercy, in which seven guest performers from the RVA community will join the company.
For the lovers of SFD’s PAGE TO STAGE series, Foster brings back an expanded version of A Soft Neglect for this program. First performed in 2024, inspired by a poem written by Tara Shea Burke, Foster dives deeper into the work with this exciting and fast-paced expansion.
