PRE PRO SESSION AGES 14 to 17 / JULY 25th 11am-5:30pm

Join us for a day of dance led by the company's Artistic Director, Starrene Foster, alongside the company’s talented dance artists. This series of workshops is tailored for intermediate and advanced students, ages 14 to 17, who wish to enhance their technical training, learn contemporary repertoire, and participate in the creative process. The day will begin with an individual photoshoot with company photographer Douglas Hayes. Each participant will receive a headshot and a full body shot for their portfolio. All dancers registered for the Pre-Pro Session will participate in the photoshoot together to explore the fundamentals of dance photography. Technique, repertoire, and creative exploration classes follow, concluding with a session with company member Madison Ernstes PT,DPT on injury prevention. The session will wrap up with a Q&A, allowing time for the students to ask questions regarding continuing practice, gaining professional experience, preparing for auditions, and life as a creative.
